The holidays are here and we all love to indulge in a few of our favorite things that may be extra special to us this time of year! We're giving you an insider's look at what Osmosis' fearless leaders, Dr. Ben Johnson and Robin McGee, can't go a day without this season. Let's take a peek!

Osmosis Founder, CEO, and Skincare and Wellness Formulator, Dr. Ben Johnson, may not need brown paper packages tied up with string, but here are a few of his favorite things:

Simplifying Serums

The Osmosis Vitamin A Serums are the most powerful age reversing serums available. They allow the skin to help remodel itself through increased nutrition, immune repair and collagen and elasticity production.

We use Retinaldehyde which is the only Vitamin A that is proven to stimulate collagen as well as Retin A, works on rosacea, does not cause inflammation or skin sensitivity and is completely stable.

Our Vitamin A Serums are designed by the level of active and corrective ingredients to align with skin tolerance. Below is a guide to help understand our levels:

Renew

The strongest age reversing serum in the world, plain and simple (0.1% Retinal).

Dr Johnson's Corner :: September 2014

As much as I love Summer, it definitely results in the return of pigmentation whenever the source has not healed completely.  Hopefully many of you noticed that a lot of your old pigmentation did not return!  As Fall approaches, we need to double down on our treatment of the source of these lesions with Rescue and Catalyst.  Remember that we have to see the last bit of redness leave the face before we can expect the pigment to not return.

I couldn't be more excited to tell you that the trend towards non-inflammatory skincare is picking up steam. Dr Johnson's Corner :: Understanding Rosacea

Rosacea is triggered by digestive disturbances (reflux, IBS, Candida excess, etc). You and your clients should know that rosacea worsens over time because the foods/beverages we ingest are usually inflammatory. This means that if we are not addressing the source of the problem, the skin will be harder to control every year. Dietary changes are a great start, but Digestive Health Harmonized H20, Anti-PathogenHarmonized H20 and/or Restore Internal are extremely beneficial for the internal conditions associated with rosacea. Topically we recommend Restore for the most severe cases but all cases need to add Calm into their routine at some point because it restores lost collagen and repairs scarring while calming the skin. The inside-out approach is critical for success with rosacea, and we want to ensure that you and your clients achieve the results they deserve!

As you all know, Osmosis’ primary goal is to reverse aging… and we are doing that! One of the biggest obstacles to overcome is DNA damage because it uses unique repair pathways. Aging of our DNA is inevitable but slowing that process can make dramatic changes in your skin and overall health. DNA provides directions to the cells to make collagen, antioxidants, peptides, growth factors and repair-cells like macrophages. As we lose that information through damage from the sun, acids and other sources of inflammation like our diet, our skin simply cannot maintain its normal functions.
 
By now you are familiar with Catalyst and its Zinc Finger Technology™. It has done remarkable things for the skin, as we can all attest. Osmosis is excited to announce incorporation of a new DNA repair agent called AC-11 that has extensive research showing it increases DNA repair by 33%. What makes this even more exciting is that when taken orally, AC-11 creates internal healing that is noticeable and in many cases remarkable. DNA is damaged by fluoride, mercury and several other toxins that are prevalent in society. DNA is also damaged by many environmental factors.
