Today we're talking toners! Sometimes referred to as astringents, we call them Activating Mists, but no matter what name you give it, know that it plays an important role in your skincare routine when used correctly. We're breaking down everything you need to know about toners and how to use them!
What Toners do for your skin.
A toner is typically a water or alcohol-based (although we steer clear of this harsh stimulant) liquid that can be comprised of essential oils or plant extracts used for the purpose of balancing the skin's pH after cleansing. They can provide additional hydration, soothe the skin, and serve as an antibacterial agent as well.
What is an Activating Mist?
We often get asked if we carry a toner, or 'what is an Activating Mist?'. Well, if you're wondering, you've come to the right place! Osmosis takes a slightly different approach to a toner, but all in all, our Activating Mists are toners in essence. Instead of harsh alcohols or stimulants, our Mists are completely Harmonized Water based which uses scalar wave technology to promote healthy skin while stabilizing bacteria levels and empowering rejuvenation. The frequencies in these Mists work synergistically with the skin and your serums to optimize absorption so you get what you signed up for...results! We recommend utilizing our Activating Mists in a traditional toner fashion by spritzing after cleansing, or use it as a penetration tool in the last step of your routine to drive serums and other products deep into the dermal layer of the skin.

Clear Activating Mist promotes healthy rejuvenation through product penetration and antibacterial frequencies. Spritz 5-7 times as the last step in your daily regimen.

This month we have created a simple, functional and EFFECTIVE ageless facial that you can treat yourself to at home.
Follow along below to give your skin the gift of health and ageless confidence.
Step 1. Steam your face! Boil 2 cups of water, carefully transferring boiling water to a heat safe bowl. Throw in some fresh lavender or eucalyptus for a sensory experience. Lean above the steaming bowl of water and cover your head with a towel. Breathe deep and relax until the water cools and steam dies down.
Step 2. Remove debris, dirt, and oil. Use Deep Clean to reveal fresh skin.
Step 3. Treat with a quarter size dollop of Hydralift Firming Mask with two pumps of StemFactor. Apply all over, from forehead all the way down your neck. Massage into your skin with gentle tapping motions. Spritz with Clear + and let sit for 15 minutes. Use this time to look back at just how wonderful your life has been this far... (good and bad experiences included)!
Step 4. Use a soft, damp towel and remove mask.
Step 5. Take a look at yourself in the mirror and thank YOU for getting you this far!
Step 6. Tap a pea size amount of Refresh PM around your orbital and lip area.
Step 7. Massage 2 pumps of Catalyst AC-11 into your skin, neck, and chest.
Step 8. Spritz 2-3 pumps of Clear + all over and gently press into your skin.
Step 9. Give your skin an extra boost of hydration and moisture with Immerse. Hydrated skin will always look youthful!
Step 10. Do your favorite dance move from your youth... just to prove to yourself that you've still got it!

Ahhhhhh Valentine's Day. The day of love is approaching and candy hearts are available at every turn! This month is a great reminder to tell your loved ones how much you care about them. It's also an important time to show yourself some love! We have created a special Love Facial to get your skin in shape for Cupid's Arrow. Take some time out for yourself, and pamper the skin you're in!
What you'll need: Melt-Away Gelee, Purify Cleanser, Polish, StemFactor, Clear and Clear Plus, Refresh PM, Repair, Replenish, and Quench.
Here are your steps for a little skincare love:
1. Remove makeup and impurities with Melt-Away Gelee. Massage a dime size amount into skin, remove with a warm towel.
2. Cleanse with Purify. Massage two pumps into wet skin, rinse with warm water.
3. Wet a wash cloth with hot water and set aside. Mix a quarter size amount of Polish with one pump of Clear and massage onto skin. Sit back and place the hot wash cloth on your face for 3-5 minutes. Then remove.
4. Massage skin with one pump Stemfactor and one pump Clear Plus and leave it on the skin.
5. Eat some candy hearts.
6. Starting at your forehead and moving down towards your neck, in quick, feathery strokes, massage a quarter size amount of Repair Healing Mask and one pump Refresh PM into the skin. Wrap a hot wash cloth around your face and relax for 5-10 minutes before removing.
7. Hydrate and treat your skin with Replenish. Massage one pump onto face and neck until fully absorbed.
8. Mist with Clear Plus, and massage skin once more.
9. Moisturize with one pump of Quench.
10. Eat more candy hearts... and maybe take a skip of red wine?
11. Look in the mirror and see clear, glowing, healthy skin.
