Osmosis Skincare: ABC's F - Fulvic Acid


It's that time of the month again, time to dissect our ingredient deck to provide you with the lowdown on why certain ingredients are so darn good for our skin! August is all about the F ingredients. Lets focus on an Osmosis favorite, Fulvic Acid.

Fulvic Acid AKA the Nutrient Booster, is a compound found naturally in the earth (via dirt/soil) and is loaded is good bacteria and aids in our skin's ability to be able to better absorb hydration, nutrients and antioxidants. Let's take a closer look at this earthly wonder:

Pigment Perfecting Facial!


We are so close to shorts, sun dresses, and flip flop weather we can hardly stand it! That means showing a bit more skin, which means you must be protected! We like to call summer SPF season (though you NEED to wear SPF daily… throughout the year). With summer comes the possibility for sun damage, dark spots and uneven skin. We have created the perfect lightening and brightening facial to reduce pigment problems and keep your skin even and balanced all summer long!



Step 1. Boil 2 cups of water. Once water is hot, pour in a heat safe bowl. Drape a towel over your head while leaning into the steam from the hot water. Steam your skin for 5 minutes to open your pores and prep them for your at-home treatment.

Step 2: Cleanse skin with Purify, gently cleanse in small circular motions pushing cleanser up towards the forehead, then rinse.

Step 3: Apply a quarter size amount of Polish to the skin.  Allow to sit for 5-7 minutes. Apply a warm towel to skin and without applying pressure, allow it to remain on skin until lukewarm in temperature. Gently lift towel and use to remove any excess.

Step 4: Apply 2 pumps of Rescue and a nickel size amount of Repair to the skin. Spritz Clear Plus+ on top and gently massage the product into the skin for deeper penetration. Allow to sit for 15 minutes. Apply a warm towel to skin and without applying pressure, allow it to remain on skin until lukewarm in temperature. Gently lift towel and use to remove any excess.

Step 5: Apply 2 pumps of Enlighten to hyperpigmented areas on face, neck, and décolleté.

Step 6: Spritz skin with 4 pumps of Clear Plus+, then using gentle pressure, massage Clear Plus+ Into the skin.

Step 7: Apply a dime size amount of Shade or Protect to the face, neck, and décolleté for protection.

*Note, when doing a lightening treatment, SPF if the most important factor in keeping skin bright, protected, and keeping the results of this facial intact.* This facial experience is perfect for gaining a brighter complexion and treating hyperpigmentation! Complete this regimen once a week and utilize Enlighten and Restore every evening for even more results.

Give your Skin Some Love - Valentine's Day Facial


Ahhhhhh Valentine's Day. The day of love is approaching and candy hearts are available at every turn! This month is a great reminder to tell your loved ones how much you care about them. It's also an important time to show yourself some love! We have created a special Love Facial to get your skin in shape for Cupid's Arrow. Take some time out for yourself, and pamper the skin you're in!

What you'll need: Melt-Away Gelee, Purify Cleanser, Polish, StemFactor, Clear and Clear Plus, Refresh PM, Repair, Replenish, and Quench.



Here are your steps for a little skincare love:

1. Remove makeup and impurities with Melt-Away Gelee. Massage a dime size amount into skin, remove with a warm towel.
2. Cleanse with Purify. Massage two pumps into wet skin, rinse with warm water.
3. Wet a wash cloth with hot water and set aside. Mix a quarter size amount of Polish with one pump of Clear and massage onto skin. Sit back and place the hot wash cloth on your face for 3-5 minutes. Then remove.
4. Massage skin with one pump Stemfactor and one pump Clear Plus and leave it on the skin.
5. Eat some candy hearts.
6. Starting at your forehead and moving down towards your neck, in quick, feathery strokes, massage a quarter size amount of Repair Healing Mask and one pump Refresh PM into the skin. Wrap a hot wash cloth around your face and relax for 5-10 minutes before removing.
7. Hydrate and treat your skin with Replenish. Massage one pump onto face and neck until fully absorbed.
8. Mist with Clear Plus, and massage skin once more.
9.  Moisturize with one pump of Quench. 
10. Eat more candy hearts... and maybe take a skip of red wine?
11. Look in the mirror and see clear, glowing, healthy skin.

This facial is meant to hydrate dry, dull winter skin. This is the perfect facial to preform the night before your big date for the day of love. Don't forget to swipe our Body Shimmer Powder onto your arms, decollete, and legs (if you're showing them)!
